In 2002, Piggy Bank World supported Clearwaterproject.org, a non-profit
organization whose effort is to bring clean water to communities worldwide
lacking this necessary asset. 10¢ from every bank* sold until December
31st 2002 was donated to this organization for the new year.
Around the world, one common thread between impoverished communities is
a lack of safe water. By establishing a dependable source of clean
water, however, poor villages can be freed from their shaky economies.
This freedom happens because the locals can grow food, open businesses,
and contribute to the overall well-being of their communities.
