Forged in the early 1900's, the metal doors of the wooden safes are genuine antiques that were once used as post office box doors. There are two styles of door available: Eagle and Greek (see detailed images below!). Each bank arrives with a combination and certificate stating where the door came from and the year it was patented (picture of certificate is below). A brass plate elegantly surrounds the coin slot on the top. These collectibles will be treasured for years to come, but supply of the doors is limited. As either a functional bank or sole decoration, these bonafide collectibles make inspired gifts. The fine wood working alone makes them a site to behold!
